A top-notch service for you!
BLUE LAB has gone through the NQS rating process by the Education and Care Regulatory Unit.
The rating measures the quality of any Early Childhood Service in Australia. It examines seven areas and scores them within a four-scale system: Needs improvement, Working Towards, Meeting, and Exceeding what is expected.
BLUE LAB has scored 5 Meeting and 2 Exceeding. These last ones were in Relationship with Children and Collaborative with Families, where it really matters.
But how good our score is? Is just good… or really good?
I aim to provide a home environment that is educational, inclusive and nurturing. I am influenced by Reggio Emilia in Itlay, which considers the environment is the third teacher after the educator and families. I aim to encourage the children to develop an understanding and positive connection with the natural world. I aim to provide an inspiring environment with an outdoor classroom for children to learn and discover. I aim to provide an environment where children can play freely and unrestricted and feel at home.
Personally, I believe each child is precious and unique. I aim to give them the opportunity to develop to their full potential. I believe children learn best through play based learning and play is the most natural and joyful way for children to learn.
I also believe in creating a culture of kindness. Where the educator is nurturing, encouraging and supportive and the child’s voice is heard and valued.
I recognise that families are a child’s first teacher and aim to develop a meaningful open relationship between myself and a child’s family.
I aim to maintain a professional attitude and work at improving and meeting my role as a qualified educator. I will continue to learn, grow and develop as an educator.
